Everyone has a sanctuary Where a landscape becomes your eyes In this state your vision remains clear It can even fill up your next breath of air In my mind, I search for beauty all the time Some are luckier finding this great divine You can’t hold back, just relax If you want to reach this alluring path This is how we feel Golden Foggy breakdown through the mountains I see my friends promoted In a place where common grounds are fortuned Why do people settle for something less? They put in their contributions Yet their life still remains a big mess Fighting a crowd not hoisting their fists In our prime, we try and reach this side Yet we go down a trail we can’t see Alluring to some, don’t be scared, tag along Follow my Golden theory

There is a way to find myself Intrigues the mind, find the doubt So we don’t remain a hard to read shell Translation is something I can see Whether it’s the language that we speak Or my friends that talk Japanese Can’t you see? It’s clear to me You get a little If you give a bit of your time We all follow these complicated lines We speak the same language Our accents are different You could be my best friend If you bounce yourself open Being lost, you rise up Being found, you fall down Once you’re up, you seem to pierce to the floor The sea is deep but you arrive at the shore This pattern bothers me; I can’t do this no more Being found, is like you’ve gained it all Unlike lost, you’re emotions aren’t sound All resides in the bounce of a ball Being lost, you rise up Being found, you fall down Release yourself Bounce yourself open

Walking Man 05:20
If I just move I’ll end up somewhere new But if I don’t I guess I’ll never know What does this magic place hold? Will it be worth it, I don’t know That’s the beauty of it all We rise to the challenge or let it all fall I am a walking man My curiosity won’t let me rest Until I reach some kind of end Regardless of failure or enlightment I’ll stick to it so I never have to answer to my concerns again If I just play Will I make a mistake? BUT IF I DON’T I guess I’ll never know What will this mystery hold? Will it be worth it, I don’t know That’s the beauty of a song We sing for that moment or let it all fall Walking man Where do I stand? Trip and fall, I’m back up again

This is where the light shines in Through the halls and out the open ends Clearly we see it’s all in our dreams Before we wish them away to start our new day This game to fame Is not even worth a grain Trains cross over plains Flying past paper cranes You’ll see through the seams Put down that loaded drink Get a glass of lemonade Whatever This Will Be Let’s do it again Its 9:23, where is Leon Spinks Pukin with his pants around his ankles Cross the links that lead our voice Turn the page and educate a free choice

It's Okay 04:59
I don’t know what’s going on today My eye sight is not streaming me your way Nothing more to say Hindered by the things we say or do Pushed by the things we try to prove I can’t focus on you It’s Okay We strive to achieve the things we want to make Creating our thoughts, trying to mend mistakes It’s Okay, it’s Okay A broken heart is in my cards these days I don’t know why these days seem so grey The tears stream right down your face Don’t expect a change We try and mould the things dilute This labyrinth maze keeps me confused There’s nothing I can do Don’t expect a change Our thoughts are not the same Settle yourself some other away It’s Okay I wrote this yesterday You will find a healthier way

about

Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Demsky has been perfecting his unique style of songwriting with help from the people that inspire him every day, his friends and family. For the past decade, Demsky has played all across Canada and the Northeastern region of the States with the likes of Vanderpark, Fried Dough and The Boo.

2010 turned out to be a year of growth and time well spent on the making of his first ever EP ‘The Man with the Kite’. A blend of Song-writer friendly tunes, mixed with an electronic rhythmic backdrop. The title was chosen after reading Aldous Huxley’s book, ‘Island’ - a passage of which Demsky found particularly inspiring:

"The man with the kite?" Will was puzzled. "He does his work down here," she explained; "but he holds a string in his hand, and at the other end of the string is a kite, and the kite is forever trying to go higher, higher, Higher. Even while he's at work, he feels the constant Pull from Above, feels the Spirit tugging insistently at the flesh. Think of it! A man of affairs, a great Captain of Industry—and yet, for him, the only thing that Really Matters is the Immortality of the Soul."

Lessons of love, loss, choices, perseverance, devotion, and adaptability are some of the themes on 'The Man With The Kite'.
